ANIMATION IN THE INTERNET AGE
Animation is an effective tool for showing potential customers what your business can do for them. Through animation you can convey your services in a unique, entertaining and informative way. Now more than ever before, it makes sense to take advantage of this robust communication strategy. Why depend only on static photos and verbiage, when you can “Wow” them with dynamic motion graphics, voice over, and music.
MOREOVER, YOU CAN CREATE A POWERFUL TOOL FOR YOUR SALES FORCE
By creating a series of animations, you can outline all of your services in neat little 30 to 90 second videos. Your salesforce can then use them as visual aids during meetings with clients or perspective customers. Then, as a follow-up, your salesforce could provide links to those videos on your website. That way, clients and customers can review your services at their leisure. Maybe they would want to share them with their own upper management, thereby reinforcing the information from the meeting.
BUT THERE IS SO MUCH MORE YOU CAN DO
Animation is not just for the landing page of your website. Imagine your next trade show with an enormous flatscreen TV at your booth, with your company’s motion graphics playing for all to see and hear. Furthermore, animation is a fantastic way to breakdown complex ideas and manufacturing processes. Or maybe you just want something informative or entertaining for customers when they visit your restaurant, retail store or spa. And there is a hardly an ad on television today that doesn’t make use of some form of motion graphics.
ANIMATION HAS THE POWER TO ENGAGE
Whether it’s hyper-realistic computer games or Hollywood special effects that challenge the senses, consumers have grown accustomed to animation and video: We are moved by motion. Think of Youtube and Vimeo and the vast amount of video content that populates user’s feeds every day. Giphys, those little repeating animations that appear in web ads, continue to grow in popularity. Many companies create videos and animations as a way to reach customers through social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter and so on. With the advent of the Internet, animation is experiencing a resurgence that maybe even Disney himself couldn’t have predicted.
